In a survey conducted, we came across the fact that nine out of 10 children in rural India profoundly lacked the skill of reading and writing in English. This learning gap further widened due to the closure of schools during the pandemic.
With an aim is to empower the young children from rural India with English language skills, ENGLISH360 has introduced an English language development program both online and offline for all the children studying in the government schools of India.ENGLISH360 has taken upon itself to equip these children with good communication & written skills in English, therefore, enabling them to be future ready.
ENGLISH360 is presently focusing around several schools in Karnataka, out of which 10 are around Bangalore, Mysore and Mangalore. We are planning to slowly spread out across India.
The teachers in these schools struggle to teach English as a subject. They lack prior knowledge and expertise in this field. Hence, these teachers also need to be equipped with the right tools to overcome this challenge. ENGLISH360 provides the right resources to help them be self-sufficient in the classroom.
With this mission in mind, we have successfully introduced the English Wizard program for children and teachers in a few selected schools which are equipped with the resources to support EdTech platform.
